Scotia-Glenville
was ranked 13th out of 85 area school districts by the Capital
District Business Review in its Sept. 26 issue. Last
year, S-G ranked 19th.

Day Kindergarten
parent program on Jan. 7
The school
district is considering moving from the current Transitional
Kindergarten program to a Full Day program beginning
in September 2009.
Superintendent Susan Swartz will discuss that possibility
with parents during a meeting at 7 p.m. on
Wednesday, January 7, at the Sacandaga Elementary
School.
If school is cancelled or after-school activities
are cancelled on Wednesday, the meeting will be rescheduled
to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, at Sacandaga.
